The Greenfield school district is located in the southern part of Milwaukee County. Since 2011, this district has aggressively used Act 10 to make significant changes to collectively bargained teacher salaries, benefits, and working conditions. Many teachers have fled the challenging and often oppressive teaching and working conditions created by the Greenfield adminstration and school board since 2011. One bright spot is that the Greenfield administration did implement an objective career salary teacher salary system, but with a relatively low career maximum salary of $70,000 after a lifetime of teaching and a Masters degree. The average teacher salary has increased by about 4% since 2011.

 The Greenfield school district is located in Milwaukee County, one of the most ethically diverse, democratic voting counties in Wisconsin. Thoughout the pandemic, citizens in most Milwaukee County communities followed state health guidelines designed to curb the spread of Covid19.
